Practical advantages of wood panelling for walls
Wood panelling is not only a beautiful way to finish a wall, but it also has several practical advantages. One is that it improves the acoustics of an interior space, thus making it feel more comfortable. Moreover, research has shown that wood exerts a calming effect that improves people’s sense of wellbeing. As a product made by nature, wood is inherently beautiful and pleasant to look at. And it is also environmentally responsible. Our sustainable wood varieties are an outstanding choice for use in interior settings, as they are free of radon and other toxins and help maintain balanced humidity. In short, our wood panelling for walls will contribute to a healthy and comfortable living or working environment.

If desired, panelling can be removed from the entire wall for re-use elsewhere.
Make sure you never use glue, so as to ensure the circular nature of our QuickClip® products. The clip grip is a handy tool that protects circularity.
Selected applications for wood panelling
Fire-retardant treatment
Upon request, we can pre-treat your wood panelling to make it fire-retardant. Vacuum impregnation in an autoclave makes wood less susceptible to ignition and helps prevent the spread of fire. It also ensures that panelling meets all applicable fire-retardancy regulations. In terms of technical requirements, this means there are no limitations on the use of wood panelling as an aesthetic element in any design.
The fire-retardant product applied in this process is 100% natural and biodegradable, and does not affect the colour or structure of the wood.
Acoustic comfort
Sound reverberation can make a space feel hard and unwelcoming. Since wood absorbs sound waves, adding wood panelling to walls can improve acoustics by reducing reverberation, thus enhancing the comfort of the space. Homes and other buildings with poor acoustics can be improved further by combining wood panelling with our acoustic ceiling panels. Feel free to ask us for advice for your specific project.
