As a result of years of exposure to the elements, our reclaimed wood has acquired a particular appearance and a distinct character featuring authentic grooves, tears, knots and nail holes. The visible history of these rustic-looking boards immediately recreates the warm atmosphere of their original setting. Moreover, by choosing our reclaimed wood you are opting for a highly sustainable wood source, since each piece is reclaimed from previously-used building materials.
Sourcing reclaimed wood
Our reclaimed wood is salvaged from old homes, barns and demolished buildings, and transformed in our workshop into beautiful authentic floors and wall panelling. From old American or European oak to barnwood in pine, each wooden plank is unique and authentic.
Barnwood is reclaimed wood sourced from the exteriors of vintage barns. We reclaim this authentic-looking wood for repurposing in interior and exterior projects.

Advice from our wood expert
In principle, our reclaimed wood is dried/air-dried to a moisture content of between 12% and 20%. If you have selected solid reclaimed wood for ceiling or wall panelling, we recommend allowing the wood to acclimatise on site for at least one week.
