Added advantages of HOTwood pine decking boards
Our HOTwood pine decking is planed smooth on all sides. The slight convexity of the upper surface ensures that water is effectively channelled off, thus helping them dry quickly after rain. This is important to prevent moss formation and slipperiness.
The colour of thermo pine decking is appealing and warm, in time weathering to a lovely, even grey. Even so, we advise customers to apply two layers of Aquatron immediately after installation. Aquatron repels dirt and ensures that water rolls off the surface of the wood, keeping it dry and better protected. With Aquatron, weathering is even more beautiful and even.
Thermo pine decking planks are 26mm thick by 118mm wide. We also supply cover boards to hide and protect the ends of the decking boards. If you opt to leave board ends uncovered, we advise you to apply a protective coat of wax oil to prevent end checking and cracking.
