In order to speed up each project wherever possible, Carpentier has put together some optional extras. We can carry out additional preparation work in our workshop to make putting the finishing touches on your timber-frame project even easier.
Carpentier delivers prefabricated elements in kit form. On site, you simply need to fit them together, saving you a considerable amount of time. And you can save even more if the finishing on your timber-frame wall is done off-site too. In our workshop, we can fit prefab panel walls with environmentally-friendly insulation, a vapour barrier, timber cladding, ducts for electrical wiring and other techniques. Take a look at our range of optional extras below to make your building work go faster, whether it’s a new building, a renovation or a timber-frame extension.
As well as prefabricated timber-frame wall structures, we also offer the following options:
Carpentier's exclusive advantage is that we can also install timber cladding to the prefabricated walls in our workshop. This extra service saves timber-frame builders even more time during the construction of a timber-frame home. Our QuickClip® profiles guarantee a seamless result every time, since cladding boards click into place on the aluminium joists with no visible nails or screws. And because the clips are precisely pre-positioned on the joists, boards are always perfectly spaced.
If the cladding has not already been fitting in your timber-frame kit, you can install it straight away on-site, since timber-frame is a dry building method. The same applies to wall and ceiling panelling. Thanks to our high-quality QuickClip® profiles, this step can be completed in no time. Clips are pre-mounted on aluminium joists, so wooden boards can be easily clicked into place. The fact that no nails or screws can be seen adds to the aesthetic value of the timber-frame house, wooden outbuilding or timber-frame extension.
