Easy to use
Because they are so incredibly easy to install, these aluminium joists for decks, fencing, gates, outdoor cladding and interior wall and ceiling panelling reduce installation time by up to 50% in projects incorporating QuickClip® profiles.
All of the clips are attached to the black-coated aluminium joists, thus significantly reducing installation time on site. The only on-site work required is to click the timber decking or cladding into place. And because the clips are precisely pre-positioned on the joists, boards are always perfectly spaced. All in all, this is a quick, simple and smart system that guarantees the highest quality seamless results, whether installed vertically or horizontally.
Why aluminium?

Good to know
Aluminium rails have a black coating (RAL 9005) to create a dark background for gaps of up to 10mm. For profiles with gaps of more than 10mm, we advise anodisation of the aluminium rails. Under some conditions, the black coating on the rails may fade over time. The coating may also become chipped during transport or handling. If minor damage to the black coating is visible between larger gaps, it can easily be touched up with black paint. However, please note that this is the responsibility of the builder or fitter.
When cladding is installed vertically, the weight of the boards and the effects of gravity could cause boards to slide. Glue is often used to ensure they remain in place. However, this means that our QuickClip® cladding loses its circular character. That’s why we have come up with a clip grip that fits perfectly around the clip and prevents the cladding from sliding.
Suitable for raised decks
Besides pre-mounted clips, aluminium joists also feature a lengthwise groove for seamless attachment of adjustable decking risers. This is particularly convenient for installing a raised deck or when working on an uneven underground.
If you plan to build a raised wooden deck, you can easily combine QuickClip® decking boards in various thermal wood varieties with adjustable decking risers. To achieve stable end joins between joists for decking, use the Top Link tool. This tool is easy to use and helps ensure that decks are durable and stable. Use the Top Cube as an instalation support tool for seamless installation of edge boards.
Advice from our wood specialists
If you opt not to use decking risers when installing a deck with QuickClip® profiles, we advise you to apply an elastomer strip to the underside of the aluminium joists. This helps to keep reverberations to a minimum, particular when the desk is installed on gravel or stabilized sand. |

Clips also available separately
The clips usually come pre-mounted on aluminium joists. But clips are also available separately for use in jobs requiring non-standard placement – for instance, for finishing corners and window frames. Based on the situation, you can determine the right placement and easily attach an extra clip to a joist just where you need it. Results will always be seamless and beautiful.
