Accoya is a high-quality wood variety that is even more durable than the best tropical hardwoods. This variety is sourced from sustainably managed forests and treated using a toxin-free modification process known as acetylation. This produces boards that retain their shape and are resistant to rot – the perfect material for decking. Throughout its lifetime the wood will stand up to extreme weather conditions of all kinds with no shrinking, swelling or distortion. No other wood variety offers the same combination of sustainability and stability as Accoya.

Accoya decking board finishes and maintenance
Accoya decking boards require little to no maintenance and are comfortable under bare feet. Left untreated, these decking boards from our QuickClip® range will weather to a beautiful, natural colour. Even so, we advise customers to apply two layers of Aquatron immediately after installation. Aquatron repels dirt and ensures that water rolls off the surface of the wood, keeping it dry and better protected. As a result, weathering is even more beautiful and even.
Do you want that weathered look without the wait? If so, opt for our grey decking boards in Accoya. These durable decking boards are impregnated to the core with grey pigment using an advanced, non-toxic colouring process. The grey colour will retain its beauty for years. And there’s no need to re-oil boards. Simply clean them once a year to keep your deck looking fresh and as good as new. The colouring process also prevents the colour changes that take place with natural weathering, which ensures even colouring from the outset. Aquatron is not needed on grey Accoya decking boards. Quick and easy installation with QuickClip® decking boards in Accoya

Circular decking
The invisible installation system makes it possible to remove QuickClip® decking boards one at a time if desired. Using the set of Grad® disassembly keys, simply detach a board to replace it or to access the space under the deck.
If necessary, the entire deck can be reconfigured or even removed for reassembly elsewhere. Like all of our other QuickClip® products, our Accoya decking boards are a beautiful, sustainable and circular construction solution.
Advice from our wood specialists
The Grad® decking risers are ideal for installing a deck using QuickClip® decking boards on an uneven underground. You can create a solid base for the wooden deck of your choice by simply clicking on aluminium joists for our Accoya decking boards. Decking risers are also a great solution when installating a raised deck. A single model of the adjustable decking risers can bridge height differences from 100mm to 1m.
