Wooden room divider for homes or office spaces
Our wooden room divider provides an elegant solution for dividing a space without creating a solid barrier. Thanks to the movable slats, you can connect or separate spaces to create just the right amount of privacy. These wooden slats are ideal for use as a stylish room divider in an open loft or office space.
In the home, a room divider is a convenient solution for separating a living area from a kitchen or a bathroom from a bedroom. Room dividers are also ideal for larger spaces and in hospitality settings, since they provide a visual suggestion of privacy and help soften sunlight. Leave the louvers partly opened for a different dynamic or to make the best use of ambient light. And where a solid wall makes a room feel smaller, a partially transparent room divider creates a sense of spaciousness.
Tailor-designed room dividers in wood
Carpentier can create a tailor-designed room divider in wood to your precise specifications and install it in your space. Our room dividers are available in thermo ash and oak, and we can finish your choice of wood in a colour that will complement the rest of your interior decor scheme.
When it comes to design, you can choose between rectangular louvers or elliptical louvers, which can be mounted horizontally or vertically in the frame. Vertical wooden louvers are a popular choice, since they are less likely to hold dust than horizontal louvers. But since we make each room divider to order, you can choose the design that best suits your needs. We create wooden room dividers to suit spaces with ceiling heights of up to 3 metres in oak and upto 3.90 metres in thermo ash.
Since it is delivered as a kit, putting up a wood partition is quick and easy.
A unique advantage of Carpentier shutters is that the mechanism of the wooden slats is made up of a basic, black aluminium profile, set on a wooden frame with no visible screws. This makes Carpentier’s room dividers streamlined and attractive.
Louvers can be adjusted and locked into place manually. Alternatively, opt for automated adjustment and, if desired, integration into your home automation system.
