Carpentier’s louvered pergolas are streamlined and timeless, with only wood elements and no plastic parts visible in the minimalist designs. Our louver roof patio covers are both unique and ecologically responsible solutions for outdoor sun shades. You may not have known, but Carpentier is also the only company to offer wooden louvered pergolas.

The horizontal louvers are created in thermo ash, the most sustainable alternative for tropical hardwoods. Thermo ash is ideal for outdoor use thanks to its exceptional quality, stability and solidity, while an aluminium upper surface ensures they remain waterproof. Rainwater runs off in a controlled manner via the piping, which is neatly tucked away in the posts.

Choose from among our standard designs or let us design a louvered pergola to your specifications. Each louvered roof is delivered in a smart, ready-to-assemble kit. Thanks to the accompanying assembly instructions it is easy for a professional woodworker to install a minimalist louvered pergola, whether it is integrated into an existing outbuilding, added as an extension to an existing home or constructed as a free-standing modern gazebo.
 

Moveable louvers are fully adjustable via a remote control device, smartphone or tablet, and can also be integrated into a home automation system. They improve air circulation, allowing warm air to rise and disperse and keeping the underlying area cool.

For extra comfort, a variable lighting scheme or a rain or wind sensor can also be integrated into the roof. Whatever the weather, a Carpentier patio cover with a louvered roof makes it possible to enjoy the outdoors all year round.
 

Side elements for a louvered pergola

To extend enjoyment of the garden as long as possible through the season, a stylish louvered pergola can be completed with shutter panels with adjustable louvers and/or closed glass or wooden side panels. We also provide wooden side elements in smart, ready-to-assemble kits for quick and easy installation. Carpentier’s side elements in wood can also be seamlessly integrated into an existing aluminium or wood pergola, patio cover or open veranda.

Shutter panels with adjustable louvers

To let in a pleasant breeze or a bit of sunlight, our wooden shutters with vertical or horizontal louvers are an excellent, ecologically responsible option for creating shelter and privacy. Louvers can be either manually operated or motorized, and they are also suitable for integration into a home automation system. With all mechanical parts hidden inside the wooden frame, the beauty of the wooden shutter panel is all you see. And the sunlight filtering through creates an exquisite atmosphere.

Outdoor wooden blinds

When your project calls for an element to complement a louvered pergola in wood or aluminium, our stylish horizontal outdoor blinds are an outstanding choice. The outdoor wooden blinds are fixed firmly in place and can be fully raised thanks to side gliders. So when they are no longer needed for privacy or protection from the elements, they disappear from view leaving the space between the posts completely open. Blinds are operated manually or with a remote control device, and can even be integrated into a home domotics system.

Just like our louvered pergolas and wooden shutters, our outdoor wooden blinds offer a perfect blend of form and function. The wooden louvers can be adjusted to provide exactly the desired degree of light and privacy. Moreover, blinds offer protection from rain, wind and glare. Whatever the weather, the space underneath the pergola is always comfortable and inviting.

This system is also ideal as exterior sun shades for windows in an office, home or wooden outbuilding.
