Streamlined and sustainable
Carpentier’s louvered roof pergolas are streamlined and timeless, with only wood elements and no plastic parts visible in the minimalist designs. Our slatted roof pergolas are both unique and ecologically responsible solutions for outdoor sun shades. You may not have known, but Carpentier is also the only company to offer wooden louvered pergolas.
The wooden louvers are created in thermo ash, the most sustainable alternative for tropical hardwoods. Thermo ash is ideal for outdoor use thanks to its exceptional quality, stability and solidity, while an aluminium upper surface ensures smooth running.
Rainwater runs off in a controlled matter via the drainpipes, which are hidden neatly in the posts.

Moveable louvers are fully adjustable via a remote control device, and can also be integrated into a home automation system. They improve air circulation, allowing warm air to rise and disperse and keeping the underlying area cool.
For extra comfort, a variable lighting scheme or a rain or wind sensor can also be integrated into the louvered roof. Whatever the weather, a Carpentier pergola with louvers makes it possible to enjoy the outdoors all year round.

Side elements for a louvered pergola
To extend enjoyment of the garden as long as possible through the season, a stylish louvered pergola can be completed with shutter panels with adjustable louvers and/or closed glass or wooden side panels. We also provide wooden side elements in smart, ready-to-assemble kits for quick and easy installation. Carpentier’s side elements in wood can also be seamlessly integrated into an existing aluminium or wood pergola, patio cover or open veranda.
Side panels in wood
Our high-quality wooden pergola side panels are highly functional, and their horizontal or vertical lines add a warm, natural touch to a louvered roof. Cladding can be added on one or both sides in a QuickClip® profile in HOTwood ash or HOTwood pine.

Shutter panels with adjustable louvers
To let in a pleasant breeze or a bit of sunlight, our wooden shutters with vertical or horizontal louvers are an excellent, ecologically responsible option for creating shelter and privacy. Louvers can be either manually operated or motorised, and they can also be integrated into a home automation system. With all mechanical parts being streamlined and all screws hidden, the beauty of the wooden shutter panel is all you see. And the sunlight filtering through creates an exquisite atmosphere.
