For all your wood processing needs, you can rely on Carpentier. This service takes a great deal of work off your hands and, besides convenience, also saves you time.
Carpentier guarantees high-quality wood and refined craftsmanship. We always hold a generous stock of around 5,000 m³ of sustainable wood varieties, in the form of beams, waney-edged boards and square-edged timber in fixed and falling widths. On request, we process this rough timber to the size you require.

Thanks to our extensive and advanced machine park, we can quickly cut, saw to size, plane, profile, rip-cut and CNC-machine large quantities of wood with the utmost precision, and we can even produce ready-to-assemble kits for timber-frame construction. Wood drying is also among our options. Our many years of expertise allow us to always guarantee the best quality for your project.

Carpentier has a total drying capacity of approximately 1,750 m³. 30% of our drying kilns are located in Belgium, with the remaining 70% at our subsidiary IBC in France, where we dry using wood waste. In our vacuum drying kiln, we can dry wood extra quickly, and in particular the heavier sections too. In this way we offer you an additional service.
Our sawmill is equipped with computer-controlled sawing machines that work with the greatest precision. With these we deliver perfect made-to-measure work. One of our specialities is squaring waney-edged boards into wooden boards in longer lengths. We can also re-saw oak beams to the exact dimensions requested.
Carpentier can plane any piece of wood to the desired profile. We can even plane beams with dimensions up to 300 x 300 mm. Naturally, you can also choose from our generous stock of standard profiles for cladding, decking and more.
With our band re-sawing machine, we saw the wood lengthways. This is usually done to a thickness of 27 mm, which allows you to make 9 mm parquet. We rip-cut oak before it is dried. This results in a more even colour and improved flatness and straightness.
From beams with a diamond detail to mortise and tenon joints for wooden constructions: with our computer-controlled CNC machines, we carefully work out every project.
We go even one step further and supply complete wooden constructions as ready-to-assemble kits. All parts are prepared in our own workshop with attention to detail on the CNC machines. Each piece is numbered, and detailed technical drawings and assembly instructions are always supplied. This way you are assured of a high-quality and flawless result.
