Accoya wood is 100% rot resistant and can stand up to all weather conditions. Throughout its lifespan, Accoya cladding will never swell, shrink or distort. Our Accoya cladding comes in ready-made profiles. Uniquely, Carpentier also combines it with the invisible Grad® installation system, so you can be sure of a seamless result every time.

Wood exterior cladding in Accoya is naturally beautiful and works equally well in both rustic designs and streamlined contemporary architecture. Accoya can be left untreated, but if desired the profiles can also be finished with a transparent or opaque oil or stain, brushed or charred. We offer Accoya cladding in combination with the ingenious Grad® installation system. Thanks to the QuickClip® profiles, woodworking professionals can get straight to work. Clips are pre-mounted on aluminium joists, and Accoya planks simply click into place. This system reduces installation time by up to 50% compared to traditional methods: nothing could be quicker or easier! What’s more, this smart system ensures perfect results every time, since the hidden installation system that guarantees precise alignment of each board. Accoya cladding can be installed vertically or horizontally according to preference.

Advice from our wood specialists

When cladding is installed vertically, the effects of gravity could cause boards to slide. Glue is often used to ensure they remain in place. However, this means that our QuickClip® cladding loses its circular character. That’s why we recommend to use the Grad® clip grip. This handy tool locks the cladding boards firmly onto the aluminium rail, without stopping them from being easy to dismantle and keeping their circularity. One clip grip per board is enough to prevent any sliding.

QuickClip® cladding boards can easily be dismantled without damage using a set of dismantling keys. Dismantling boards can be really useful if work needs to be carried out behind the cladding, or if you want to smarten up the entire façade, or perhaps paint it a more on-trend colour.
