Brushed wood finish
A precise, high-quality brushing process highlights the natural structure of wood. This adds more texture to the surface of the boards and accentuates the grain.
This technique is suitable for oak, poplar, Douglas fir, larch, thermally modified wood and our MDF panelling. We use a range of brushes to create the desired finish, from rough to very fine. Carpentier recently invested in brand-new machinery to create fine-sawn finishes for both interior and exterior applications.
Brushed wood with colour finish
If desired, we can treat wood with oil or stain after brushing.
Photo shows our QuickClip® Plus line profile in HOTwood ash, brushed and finished with our environmentally friendly Rubio Monocoat oil in black. This black finish adds an appealing elegance to brushed wood.
The refined appearance of this combination is perfect for interior and exterior applications, such as timber cladding and wood panelling in office or residential projects, wooden gates and more. Feel free to ask our advice on choosing the right black colour for your project. Black does actually come in a number of shades, each creating a unique effect that is brought out by brushing the wood.
Once the wood has been brushed, a coat of oil also looks great with our on-trend coulours for indoors and outdoors. The distinctive brushed wood effect brings out the various colours and tones, making your project truly unique.
