Fully finished wooden sliding gates come with all necessary hardware and are delivered pre-mounted on a concrete base for extremely rapid installation.
Wooden sliding gates with aluminium frame
Starting from one of our three standard designs for sliding gates, we create each wooden gate according to exact specifications to ensure perfect harmony with the existing structure. Thanks to their aluminium frames, our durable sliding gates are extremely stable. All of our gates feature our QuickClip® cladding profiles, which guarantee invisible installation and a seamless result. And we make sure that all of our sliding gates are finished just as the customer requires, right down to the smallest details.
Our wooden sliding gates are a standard 1.8m high, and most feature cladding on both sides. One-sided cladding is also an option, and height can be adjusted according to your wishes.

Stylish wooden sliding gates
Whether you opt for one of our standard designs or a gate designed to your own specifications, we use only high-quality, sustainable wood varieties in the cladding on our sliding gates. These include thermo ash, thermo pine, thermo clear pine, oak and barnwood. A range of cladding profiles are available for either horizontal or vertical alignment. Finishing options include charring, brushing, pre-weathering, colour finishes and more.
Optional accessories
Optionally, we can install an above-ground gate automation system that incorporates a toothed bar on the gate for automatic opening and closing. Other options include the integration of a letterbox, keypad, camera access system, lighting, house number or other feature.
For every type of sliding gate, we can create a garden gate with identical features and finish for installation adjacent to the home or the sliding gate. An extra gate provides more convenient access for visitors arriving on foot.
Good to know
When choosing a sliding gate, customers should bear in mind that the space available must be twice as wide as the gate itself to allow for opening.

Single-day installation
We assemble our wooden sliding gates in our own workshop, including all of the optional accessories of the customer’s choice, and attach them to the concrete base. They are then delivered to the installation location by special transport and lifted into place using a crane. The only on-site preparation required is to dig the hole for the foundation. This plug-and-play solution enables you to create a safe entryway to a home or property in just a single day.

Wooden gate on prefab foundation: single-day installation
At Carpentier, we create tailor-made wooden gates in our own workshop and install them on concrete foundations with the all the necessary accessories. After our approved transport service delivers the complete wooden gate to the customer’s site, all the professional needs to do is dig the trench. Our crane can then emplace the prefab gate in a single step. This plug & play solution makes installing a gate easier than you could ever imagine. Yet another advantage of a prefab wooden gate is that the structure holds itself in place thanks to the foundation.
