pro clima INTELLO PLUS vapour control membrane

pro clima INTELLO PLUS is the strong, humidity-variable and airtight vapour retarder for the inside of your timber frame structure. Thanks to its extra reinforcement, the membrane is highly tear-resistant and therefore suitable for all fibrous insulation, including blown-in insulation such as iQ3 cellulose. Its moisture-controlled behaviour slows down vapour when necessary and lets the construction dry out as much as possible, for optimal protection against structural damage and mould.

Building dry and airtight with timber frame

In a timber frame structure, the vapour control membrane forms the airtight layer on the inside of the insulation. It keeps warm, humid indoor air out of the construction, protecting it against structural damage and mould.

pro clima's vapour retarders are humidity-variable: their sd-value ranges from 0.25 to more than 25 m. This moisture-controlled behaviour promotes maximum drying of the construction. You can use them in roofs, walls, ceilings and floors, in residential and commercial buildings and in all rooms, including kitchens and bathrooms.

Why choose a humidity-variable vapour control membrane?

A humidity-variable vapour control membrane adjusts its vapour tightness to the conditions. In winter it slows down vapour from the inside; in summer the construction can dry out towards the inside. This keeps the insulation and timber frame dry and healthy.

  • Airtight to PassiveHouse standard
  • Humidity-variable sd-value from 0.25 to more than 25 m
  • Protects against structural damage and mould
  • Service life of at least 50 years (ETA-18/1146)
  • For mineral and natural insulation
  • Suitable for roofs, walls, ceilings and floors
  • Also suitable for winter construction sites
  • Fleece made from 50 % recycled polypropylene

INTELLO or INTELLO PLUS?

Both membranes work on the same humidity-variable principle and have the same sd-value and the same service life of at least 50 years. The difference lies in their strength and in the insulation you use.

  • INTELLO: for fibrous insulation mats and boards, mineral and natural. Easy to install (85 g/m²).
  • INTELLO PLUS: extra strong thanks to its reinforcement, for all fibrous insulation, including blown-in insulation such as iQ3 cellulose (110 g/m², tensile strength 340 / 220 N/5 cm).

Airtight down to every seam

A vapour control membrane is only as good as its connections. Seal the overlaps with pro clima TESCON VANA and finish connections to concrete, masonry and timber components with ORCON F. This way you build one continuous airtight system.
