Insulation

With iQ3 cellulose insulation, you insulate the roofs, walls and floors of your timber frame building completely and seamlessly. The cellulose fibres, made from recycled newspaper, are blown in and fill the construction right into every corner and gap. Produced locally in Belgium and available from stock at Carpentier.

Seamless insulation with cellulose

iQ3 is a fibrous insulation material for blowing into cavities and loose-fill application, made from at least 90 % recycled cellulose fibres from newspapers and cardboard. Because it is installed without gaps and has a windproofing effect, it insulates optimally: in winter it keeps the heat in, in summer it keeps the heat out.

iQ3 also protects against noise and provides excellent fire protection for timber structures. You can use it in roofs, walls and floors, in new builds and renovations as well as in the prefab industry.

Why choose iQ3 cellulose insulation?

Insulation that performs well, is healthy for occupants and building, and is produced locally and circularly.

  • Lambda value λD 0.038 W/(m.K) blown in
  • Fills completely, right into every corner and gap
  • Keeps warm in winter and cool in summer
  • Improves acoustics
  • Fire-retardant
  • Vapour-permeable (μ 1–2)
  • No cutting waste, suitable for any thickness
  • Produced locally in Belgium

Combining iQ3 with a strong vapour control membrane

With blown-in insulation, the membranes on both sides must be strong enough for the blowing process. On the inside, you therefore combine iQ3 with the reinforced pro clima INTELLO PLUS. Isoproc, the manufacturer of iQ3, has drawn up specific installation guidelines for this.

On the outside, choose the reinforced SOLITEX MENTO PLUS, which is also suitable for blown-in insulation.

Made in Belgium

iQ3 is made in Belgium from recycled paper, using 100 % green electricity. The low production energy and local production result in very low embodied energy.
