Timber-frame walls form the backbone of every timber-frame construction. Carpentier produces them entirely made to measure in our own workshop, including window and door openings. You decide how far we finish the wall: from a CNC-machined frame to a closed wall with insulation, membranes and cladding, ready to install.
Based on your plans and the technical calculations from our draughtsmen, we build up each wall in our workshop, under controlled conditions. Window and door openings are fitted straight away, as are the necessary recesses for services.
Our walls are equipped with quick connectors and lifting anchors. This lets you install them efficiently on site with a crane, so the structure is up within a few days.
You put together the build-up of your wall as you wish. The more we prepare offsite, the more time you save on site.
What makes Carpentier unique is that we can fit the timber cladding onto the walls in our workshop. You choose from our range of wood varieties and finishes, and the wall arrives on site ready for cladding. This delivers considerable time savings and a sleek, uniform result.
Prefer to build up the walls yourself? Then we supply the frame as a kit: sawn, CNC-machined and numbered according to plan, complete with assembly instructions.
Is your client opting for a complete concept? Then we can also include a timber deck, wooden gate and/or fence in the same wood variety and style as part of the kit.
