pro clima SOLITEX MENTO PLUS (formerly SOLITEX PLUS) is a reinforced, vapour-permeable underlay with moisture regulation for the outside of your timber frame structure. Thanks to its reinforcement, the membrane is extremely robust and suitable for all insulation materials, including blown-in insulation. The pore-free TEEE membrane actively transports moisture to the outside and offers maximum resistance to driving rain. Fully weather-resistant for up to 4 months, it is also suitable as temporary weather protection during construction.
On the outside of a timber frame structure, the build-up has to do two things at once: keep rain, wind and hail out and let moisture escape from the construction. pro clima's SOLITEX MENTO membranes combine both thanks to a pore-free TEEE membrane that actively transports moisture to the outside.
You install them as a vapour-permeable underlay on sarking boards, on wood fibre sarking boards or directly on the insulation. Fully weather-resistant for up to 4 months, they also serve as temporary weather protection during construction.
Both membranes are highly vapour-permeable, watertight and fully weather-resistant for up to 4 months. This keeps your structure dry, both during and after construction.
Both membranes work on the same principle and are equally weather-resistant. The difference lies in their strength and in the insulation you use.
Not sure which membrane best suits your build-up? We are happy to help you decide.
Seal the overlaps and connections of the membrane with pro clima TESCON VANA: the all-round tape with a fleece backing for inside and outside use, reliably airtight and driving-rain-tight and workable from -10 °C.
