With Forestique, Carpentier brings one clear concept for modular building in timber. Forestique starts from a simple idea: standard timber building components that we prepare in our workshop and assemble on your site into one whole. Within that system, you decide what the result looks like, how big it becomes and how it can still grow later. The concept, designed by architect Stef Claes, can be felt in every line: a clear volume in which structure, proportion and detail come together.
That idea works just as well in the garden as for a complete home. That is why Forestique today consists of two families: the Forestique outbuildings and the Forestique homes.
The outbuildings start from a pure timber pergola and open up a world of possibilities from there. Enlarge the volume, add functions, fine-tune everything until it becomes the place you have in mind: a garden room for long dinners, a sheltered corner to work, a pool house, a carport or a canopy extending your terrace.
You also choose the finish yourself. A timber sun canopy for tailor-made shade, a matching timber terrace that connects seamlessly, closed side walls for shelter, glazing for views or timber shutters that filter the light. Every choice changes the experience of the place.
You build a house for life, but your life will look very different in twenty years. With Forestique you build what you need now and add a module later: an extra bedroom, an office, a larger living space. We developed four house types, each with its own character, but all with the same starting point.
What all Forestique projects share is the way they are built. Every component is manufactured with attention to detail in our workshop and delivered to the site as a smart building kit. Because everything is worked out in advance down to the last detail, the elements fit together perfectly and fewer mistakes happen on site. Within a few days there is a wind- and watertight structure, and thanks to the dry construction method the finishing can follow immediately.
