For the extension of their own office in Gentbrugge, 2PK Architecten chose cladding in HOTwood Pine Ignite. Thanks to the relief-brushed black finish, the closed tongue-and-groove boarding takes on the character of traditional charred wood (Shou Sugi Ban), but without the vulnerable charred layer.
