This home in Kortrijk is finished with cladding in charred thermo ash, lending it a warm and characterful appearance. The charring durability treatment accentuates the natural wood structure and creates a beautiful contrast with the red facing brick. Around the windows, the dark wood looks particularly elegant, bringing out the texture and deep colour nuances all the more. This finish combines durability with a distinctive architectural character.
This project is part of a complete scheme in which the wall panelling and the cladding of the timber home extension were also carried out in charred thermo ash.
