Through the optimisation of our fixing system, we enable architects and timber professionals to create an original and seamless timber façade design. Profiles placed crosswise no longer need to be glued, but can simply be fixed onto an aluminium block with a groove. This means there are no visible nails or screws. With this innovative solution, we not only add a unique aesthetic touch, but also contribute to ecological sustainability. The timber cladding is easy to (dis)assemble, thereby meeting the growing demand for circular solutions. Moreover, installation is simpler and less time-consuming, which is also a plus for the professional.
INNOVATIVE SYSTEM FOR SEAMLESS FIXING
UNI LINE TIMBER CLADDING COMBINES AESTHETICS WITH SUSTAINABILITY
Of course, we developed our own QuickClip® profile to which this innovative solution applies. Uni line is a circular cladding made from HOTwood ash that combines aesthetics with contemporary design and sustainability. The trendy Uni line profile creates a modern and sleek interplay of lines and gives relief to the façade, as the basic profiles of 20 x 65 mm alternate with profiles set crosswise on the façade. At corners, the sleek design continues seamlessly.
Uni line is available in two vertical design variants, each with its own appearance: Uni line 40 QC and Uni line 65 QC. The name refers to the depth of the crosswise-placed profile. For extra creativity, colour variation is possible between the basic profile and the crosswise-placed profiles. This turns a façade into a real eyecatcher.
SIMPLE AND SEAMLESS FIXING
The unique properties of this newcomer to our range of thermo ash cladding lie in the invisible and circular fixing. Just like our other QuickClip® profiles, Uni line is fitted with the unique fixing system from Grad®. This consists of an aluminium substructure with pre-mounted clips onto which the basic profiles can be clicked easily and quickly. What is highly innovative is that aluminium blocks are now also provided to fit the profiles crosswise quickly and easily. This makes the Uni line QuickClip® profile fully circular and therefore effortlessly removable with a set of dismantling keys from Grad®.
GREAT FREEDOM IN DESIGN POSSIBILITIES
With Uni line, many variations are possible. You can choose between two depths (40 and 65 mm), which you can even play around with. You can also combine several colours with one another for a striking effect. Think, for example, of crosswise-placed timber profiles that have been pre-weathered combined with black basic profiles, or a combination of red and black. Prefer everything in the same colour, as in the project below? That is possible too! Whichever finish you choose, the powerful lines create a beautiful play of light and shadow.
